The name captures what we believe about Scotland’s greatest gift to the world: not just a drink, but a living tradition, a connection to the land and a reason to gather.
The real story
Cask-It™ came from the belief that the best whisky stories are inseparable from the people and places around them. Kevin White, an American, former Naval Aviator and Air Force Instructor, married into a Glasgow family and discovered Scotland’s whisky country through his wife, Anne.
Anne’s brother, Stewart Hunt, guides private whisky journeys across Scotland. Together with Stewart’s wife Liz, the family have spent years travelling from Glasgow pubs to island distilleries, Speyside warehouses and Highland roads. Those shared journeys became the foundation for Cask-It.
The guide is meant to help travellers slow down, pay attention and connect the dram to the landscape and people that made it.

In memory
This site is dedicated to Anne and David Hunt of Glasgow. Anne was a Glasgow woman of the old school: sharp, funny, sarcastic in the best possible way, and absolutely intolerant of nonsense. She didn't drink, which in a family this deep in whisky is either ironic or perfectly balanced. Her husband David, Big D to everyone who knew him, filled every room he walked into. Between them, they raised a family that knows how to gather around a table and make it the best place to be. Cask-It™ carries their names forward.
