Islay
A small island off the west coast of Scotland, Islay (pronounced "Eye-luh") is revered worldwide for producing the most intensely peated whiskies on earth. With eleven working distilleries on an island of just 3,200 residents, Islay punches far above its weight in the whisky world.

Lowland
Scotland's southern region, the Lowlands, produces whiskies that are lighter and more delicate than those from the north. Historically the region of triple distillation, Lowland whiskies are often described as the "aperitif" Scotch - perfect for those new to the spirit.

Campbeltown
Perched on the tip of the Kintyre Peninsula, Campbeltown was once the whisky capital of the world, with over 30 distilleries operating in the late 19th century. Today, just three remain - but they produce some of Scotland's most distinctive and characterful whiskies.
