Aberargie Distillery has been distilling quietly on a 300-acre family farm outside Perth since 2017, backed by Morrison Distillers. But 2026 is the year it stepped into the light, releasing its inaugural single malt on 3 March 2026 at £65. The debut expression is around 8 years old. Built on a barley-to-bottle philosophy, the spirit uses 52% Golden Promise barley and 48% Laureate, grown on the family's own land, matured in 100% first-fill casks. The flavour profile is rich, fruity, and waxy with a textured mouthfeel that reflects the Golden Promise character. Occasional peated runs add another dimension to the range.
